An integral part of the company
Jason received his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, graduating with
honors, from Idaho State University in 1996. He passed the CPA exam in
2000 on his first try, a feat only accomplished by 15% of those taking
the exam for the first time.
Jason spent the first 11 years of his career working for
various companies in the agriculture and food processing industries. He
has served in the corporate controller position for the last 7 of those
years. In that position he was responsible for the accurate preparation
of the financial statements, setting up accounting controls, and
managment of the office staff. He was also an integral part in securing
capital and operating financing. His experience also includes budgeting
and forcasting, financial analysis, and cost analysis. Upon seeing the
growth and opportunities that existed within the company, he joined the
Kyäni team in April 2008.
